UnlockPage provides flexible micropayment options for your paywalled content. It integrates with WordPress paywall providers to offer readers alternative payment methods for accessing premium content.

How It Works

1. Install and activate the plugin
2. Copy over domain verification token and signing token from dashboard
3. Set content available for payment in dashboard
4. Then readers can pay for content via browser extension

Third Party Services

This plugin connects to the UnlockPage payment verification service to verify user payment status before unlocking premium content.

External Service: UnlockPage API (https://api.unlockpage.com)

Purpose: Verify that users have paid for content access through the UnlockPage payment verification system

Data Transmitted:
* Page URL (to verify which content is being accessed)
* Authentication proof token (from UnlockPage browser extension)

When Data is Sent: When a reader attempts to unlock paywalled content

This external service is required for the core functionality of the plugin. Without connection to the UnlockPage API, the plugin cannot verify payments or unlock content.
